Sandhamn Murders – season 8
A 8th season of the beloved series The Sandhamn Murders, based on Viveca Sten’s universe is in production.
The 8th season includes the films: Angelica, Lili och Oliva.
Just like in the 7th season, the series and Viveca Sten’s books have been developed in different directions, while the series is based on Viveca Sten’s universe. Also in season 8, Alexandra Rapaport is joined by her new opponent, Nicolai Cleve Broch, who plays the temperamental and charming policeman Alexander.
Filmlance International AB, part of Banijay, produces the series on behalf of TV4 and C More. Producer at Filmlance is Martin Cronström and directed by Mattias Ohlsson and Niklas Ohlson. The script is written by Johan Widerberg and Sara Heldt.
The Sandhamn murders have captivated viewers for six seasons. The first was broadcast during Christmas 2010 and the latest season premiered in the August 2020.
